SBK has
been breeding Olde's (Olde English Bulldogs) since the early 90's and our progeny can be found in the pedigrees of
most breeders.
Although we are proud of the dogs we have produced, some of the more notable dogs being SBK's
King of The Hill, SBK's They Call Me Stud (a personal favorite!), SBK's Fabulous Phoebe and many more; we have
decided to develop a new line. The basis for this change was a stronger "stamp" in our bloodline. As
many of you who know our dogs and our consistent type, from both the American Bulldog and subsequently the Olde English Bulldog,
you will know what we mean. Our progeny has always been identifiable.
Because the Olde English Bulldog has
so many different phenotypes, and because we consistently produce a specific "type" of bullie,
we are dual registering our Olde's as SBK Bullies. Our goal is to develop a consistent type that can be matched beyond
our home and to avoid the varying phenotypes which lead to confusion. Much the same as our good friend Jamie did when
developing the Shorty Bull. Hats off to you Jamie for having the vision and an uncanny eye for choosing the right dogs.
Lastly, we are in the process of retrieving old photos to add to the list of those that have made there way
around the web. As years go by and with the conversion to digital, photos get stored on computers... and lost on computers.
I'll be scanning in hard copies as well from old print photos and even some more from video (time permitting of course,
lol). So check back often to see photos of the dogs in your pedigrees! Enjoy.
